The Magic Swell 1 Manual is where it all starts: the same 32-inch deck and surf truck as the Electric, black trucks front and back, no drivetrain. You make the speed yourself — pumping, shifting your weight, working from the hips. Exactly the movement that carries you along a wave.

No battery, no charging, no electronics. Pick up the board, head out, ride. It also makes a great warm-up before a session.
Without a drivetrain the board stays light enough to take anywhere. All you hear is the wheels on the tarmac.
The Manual trains your technique, the Electric keeps you moving without a break. The shop page puts them side by side, with every difference in one view.
Compare both boards →It helps, but you don't need it. A surfskate turns differently from a normal board — it leans further and answers to your body rather than foot pressure. Do your first runs on smooth, empty ground with pads on, and it comes quickly.
Every board is hand-assembled after you order, so it's usually with you in about two weeks. Shipping within Germany is free.
The Manual is built as a purely manual board. If the drivetrain is what you're after, write to us and we'll tell you honestly what's possible and what isn't.
A manual surfskate, like any skateboard, isn't a vehicle under German road traffic law. Ride on private property or designated areas, and wear a helmet and pads.

The Magic Swell 1 Manual is a non-motorised sports and training device. It is meant for paved, dry and obstacle‑free surfaces only — on private property or on tracks designated for the purpose, ridden by people with skating experience and wearing full protective gear. It is intended for riders aged 18 and over weighing no more than 100 kg, including protective gear and anything carried. Any other use, in particular on public roads, is outside its intended use.
Batteries and electrical equipment must not go in household waste. Details on free take‑back are in Section 12 of our Terms and Conditions.
