Hand-assembled on our own surf setup: surf truck up front, stable precision truck in the back, Maxfind Cyber Kit powering it. Fully assembled and ready to ride right out of the box.
Not approved for public roads · protective gear required · Manufacturer details and safety information
The Magic Swell 1 is designed, built and ridden. Before we sell it, we need two things: the licences, approvals and registrations it takes to put a product like this on the market, and the research parts for the next model. We'd rather fund both together with investors than out of early sales.
Until then we use the boards we have for teaching and demos only — demonstrations, test rides and development work. They are not for sale.
Want to keep an eye on it? Send us an inquiry and we'll get in touch as soon as sales open. And if helping fund the road there sounds interesting, apply as an investor.
Every Magic Swell Electric rides on a full Cloudwheel set in Marmalade Orange. At the back, the 96 mm hub motors sit inside Donut 105 sleeves — according to Cloudwheel, about 15% bigger than standard PU hub motor sleeves. Up front, the surf truck runs matching Discovery 105s. Same size and same damping at both ends, so the board grips the same way wherever you put your weight — and you can lay it deep on the rail without it sliding out.
A curved tread with its own pattern means more grip and less sliding, especially in hard turns.
Cloudwheel's patented damping tech filters out most of the vibration — on the motor sleeves and the front wheels alike.
Cracks, bumps, coarse surfaces: the wheels soak up the hits and the ride stays solid.
Donut sleeves on the motors, Discovery wheels on the surf truck — both 105 mm, so the board sits level and feels the same in every turn.
The surf truck up front is the heart of it. It lets you drop the board deep onto its edge and forces you into the same pumping you know from the water — your legs, core and balance never get a break. The stable truck in the back gives you the confidence to commit to every turn, even at 45 km/h.
The Maxfind Cyber Kit under the deck delivers smooth, controlled power and dependable range — the same hardware that races in eSkate competitions around the world. We tuned it for surfing, not racing.
Please note: electric surfskates aren't approved for public roads in Germany (StVZO, the German vehicle licensing regulations). Only ride on private property or in designated areas. Wear a helmet and pads every time you ride. Full manufacturer details and safety information.
The Magic Swell is not for sale at the moment. We use the boards we have for teaching and demos while we work through the licences and approvals and get hold of the research parts for the next model.
Once sales open, every board will be hand-built after you order, which usually takes about a month. Shipping goes out fully insured as dangerous goods (lithium battery, UN3481, class 9) with our shipping partner.

While you ride, the remote's display shows your speed and how many kilometers you've covered. Four riding modes let you choose how hard the motors pull.
Yes — surprisingly close. The surf truck up front puts your body through the same movements as pumping down a wave. The electric drive fills in the moments where you'd lose speed in the water.
As hard as you want it to be. You ride deep on the rail and balance with your whole body, turn after turn, with no break between waves. It hits your legs and core hard — after a tough session your thighs will be burning. The remote's four riding modes let you decide how intense it gets.
No. Electric surfskates aren't approved for public roads in Germany (no StVZO approval). Only ride on private property or designated tracks, and always wear a helmet and pads.
Yes. All our boards use standard mounts, so you can switch between our surf and cruiser trucks. Just drop us a line.
With the included UL fast charger, it takes 2.5–3.5 hours, depending on the battery you chose.
